Quarry Plant Operator & Crew Member

Are you an experienced operator looking for your next challenge? One of our premier quarry clients is expanding their team and seeking a motivated Plant Operator / All-Rounder to join their busy site crew.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a solid background in civil, mining, or quarry environments, a strong drive to learn, and the availability to pick up plenty of rewarding overtime.

The Role & Responsibilities

In this role, you won’t just be sitting in a cab—you’ll be a vital part of the daily site operations. Your day-to-day tasks will include:

• Machinery Operation: Safely and efficiently operating heavy mobile plant.

• Site Maintenance: Assisting with essential equipment servicing, including hosing down plant and clearing rock blockages safely to maintain peak production quality.

• Safety First: Executing strict daily pre-start checks and adhering to rigorous site safety protocols.

• Team Contribution: Collaborating closely with the crew and jumping in with general ground laboring tasks whenever required.

Skills & Qualifications Needed

We are targeting reliable professionals who take pride in their work. To be successful, you must possess valid tickets and hands-on experience with:

• Front-End Loaders (Sales loader experience will put you at a distinct advantage)

• Excavators

• Dozers

• Mobile Crushing and Screening equipment

• A current Health Surveillance Report (Mandatory)

• A strong grasp of safety management systems and quarry/mining environments

• Additional heavy machinery tickets are highly regarded
